Building a modern insurance experience for modern humans
CHALLENGE: National General came to us to create a digitally native brand for an untapped market: gap insurance for millennials—built on their own terms and delivered via a compelling customer experience.
APPROACH: We embarked on a parallel approach to brand and CX development, defining the strategy and user experience in tandem. Through CX and brand-building workshops, we plotted the user journey to understand consumer needs and desires, then built a brand experience on the guiding principles of transparency and flexibility.
With foundations in place, we named and developed the Vera Health identity—a brand that offers consumers ultimate freedom and flexibility. Providing the blueprints for Vera’s website and app, we equipped their in-house team with a toolkit of creative assets to bring the experience to life.
IMPACT: Vera has entered the online insurance market, disrupting the category with a fresh voice and immersive digital experience that’s driving strong user adoption.
